SHOPPING

We can arrange shopping for you in one of Batams shopping malls, Nagoya Hill (the largest), BCS (Batam City Square) located closeby Nagoya Hill, or the Mega Mall in Batam Center. If you wish to shop at Mega Mall it is our recommendation to do this on your way back home as it is connected to the Batam Center ferry terminal.
Our resort to BCS or Nagoya Hill: 25 min +/- by taxi & Mega Mall: 35 min +/- by taxi (approx. S$13 for a one way taxi drop, seats up to 4)
After shopping at the Mega Mall in Batam Center you can walk directly across the street and catch a ferry back to Harbourfront from there (with Sindo or Batam Fast company). Ferries depart about every hour. If you book a round trip open end ticket we can assist you by reserving seats from that terminal back to Singapore. If returning on a Sunday or after a public holiday please reserve seats before arriving in Batam as peak times may already be sold out.

6 BRIDGES TOUR
Hire a taxi and embark on a drive across 7 islands belonging to the Riau Peninsula. Enjoy the scenery along the way of the sparsely populated islands, dragon fruit farms, and kampong life. Stop and take photos at the bridges, take a self guided tour through a old Vietnamese refugee memorial camp or take a walk on one of the secluded beaches. At the very end, enjoy a seafood meal at an authentic, rustic style Kelong restaurant.

Time: about 4 hours round trip, best to depart between 10-1:30 pm. Price: Starts at approximately S$50, price will vary depending on duration. Beach/camp entrance fees and meals not included.

GOLF

GOLF
Batam boasts several golf courses on the island, including Southlinks, Batam Hills, Palm Springs and Tering Bay. Golfers will enjoy taking on the challenge of their courses and enjoy ocean views. Located next door covering 300 acres of stunning scenery, Indah Puri offers you the choice of taking a buggy or walking the course. (Indah Puri closed Tuesdays) And no matter your level of play, its challenging design will always bring out the best in your game.

Distance from our resort to Indah Puri Golf Course: 5 min. Southlinks, Sukajadi or Batam Hills Golf Courses: 25 min +/- by taxi. And Palm Springs, Tamarin or Tering Bay Golf Coursea: 60 min +/- by taxi. (approx. S$13-S$20 for a one way taxi drop, seats up to 4).

TAXIS
It is not recommended to get into strange taxis in the down town area so we can arrange taxi drivers that will wait for you and safely bring you back. We can call a taxi for you and you have the option to keep your driver or just have a drop and pick up. Rates vary depending on location and duration.
